Brand Strategist

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Strategist to join our team, leading a high-profile client engagement. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of the client engagement, ensuring all deliverables align with strategic goals, managing cross-functional team collaboration, and serving as a trusted advisor to the client. The ideal candidate will possess strong marketing and brand strategy expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex projects to deliver measurable results.

This is a leadership role that requires someone who can guide internal teams and clients through branding, marketing, creative, and strategic planning processes, ensuring long-term success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, building and maintaining a trusted advisor relationship.
  • Lead actionable strategic direction for client and internal teams. This requires proactive, innovative thinking and alignment with client.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions to gather and review client history, performance learnings, and key materials.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify KPIs, success metrics, and foundational insights for strategic planning.
  • Serve as the liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring consistent communication and alignment.

Strategic Planning & Marketing Consulting:

  • Collaborate with the client to define and drive marketing and brand strategy across B2B and B2C initiatives.
  • Develop go-to-market (GTM) plans and sponsorship strategies tailored to the client’s goals.
  • Partner with external agencies (e.g., public relations).
  • Oversee CRM implementation and integration.
  • Collaborate with market research team to develop data-driven analysis to inform brand positioning and audience targeting.
  • Oversee the integration of proprietary AI-driven tools to optimize creative, language, and strategy.

Project & Team Management:

  • Guide creative and production teams in delivering high-quality branding, design, and content.
  • Coordinate the execution of deliverables, including websites, landing pages, print materials, and social media content.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Schedule and lead regular status meetings, quarterly business reviews, and performance reporting sessions.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting:
  • Define measurement frameworks and monitor KPIs across campaigns.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Ensure timely delivery of performance reports with detailed analysis and visualized data.

Budget Management:

  • Oversee and manage P&L for internal client account, including budgeting, invoicing, and cost reconciliation.
  • Collaborate and lead client to ensure the effective management and tracking of the client’s budget.

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills with C-suite and other senior-level client contacts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, marketing strategy, or related roles.
  • Proven ability to lead complex client accounts and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels, branding, and creative development.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
