Paid Social Specialist

As a Paid Social Specialist, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns while also managing influencer partnerships—ensuring that every tactic aligns with strategy, creative direction, and performance goals. Success in this role requires close integration and collaboration with the organic social team to ensure a unified, strategic, and brand-consistent approach across all social channels.

What You’ll Do

Paid Social Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage paid social media campaigns across platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, and X (formerly Twitter).
  • Build and deploy campaigns in-platform: define audiences, establish targeting parameters, develop bid strategies, upload creative assets, and manage campaign pacing.
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure campaign content meets client objectives and platform best practices.
  • Monitor performance daily, analyzing campaign data to optimize for engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI.
  • Prepare reporting dashboards and presentations that clearly communicate performance insights and next steps.

Influencer Management

  • Identify and vet influencers, conducting research on audience size, engagement quality, brand alignment, and reach.
  • Manage influencer relationships: provide creative direction, brief them on brand objectives and messaging, and ensure timely content delivery.
  • Oversee influencer campaign execution and ensure deliverables meet creative standards and contractual obligations.
  • Analyze and report on influencer campaign performance, measuring both qualitative and quantitative impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with account service, creative, media, and strategy teams to ensure paid social and influencer programs are aligned with broader marketing strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to clients—supporting communication, setting expectations, and proactively identifying opportunities for optimization.

Learning & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of social media trends, ad platform updates, and influencer marketing developments, sharing insights with the broader agency team.
  • Recommend new tools, platforms, or tactics that could enhance paid social performance or influencer engagement.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in paid social media campaign management and/or influencer marketing (agency experience preferred).
  • Expertise in platform-specific campaign building and optimization, with fluency in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and similar platforms.
  • Experience managing influencer programs from vetting to execution.
  • Ability to interpret campaign data, recognize trends, and craft actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to clients.
  • A passion for social media and curiosity for how brands connect with audiences digitally.
