CommunityCare partners with AcrobatAnt to ensure that the company’s Senior Health Plan options are top of mind when seniors become eligible at 65, and when open enrollment begins.

The Challenge

How does CommunityCare, an Oklahoma health insurance provider, increase applications for its Senior Health Plan (a Medicare Advantage Plan) in a market with stiff national competition—such as United HealthCare, Humana, and Blue Cross Blue Shield?

The Solution

From a messaging standpoint: by differentiating itself—touting its locally owned coverage and access to the area’s most prominent health systems, meaning that applicants are less likely to have to change healthcare providers. And by positioning itself as a source of education, offering online and in-person seminars to educate seniors on the ins and outs of Medicare.

From a media standpoint: AcrobatAnt developed a multi-pronged approach to reach seniors with this messaging both when they’re turning 65 and during the annual election period.

The Results

Utilizing a wide mix of media tactics—including search, targeted direct mail and email, and local broadcast—the campaign was successful:

Search drove a 4.29% conversion rate, with 171 online conversions.

Social drove an impressive 69.36% site visit rate—a total of 4,290 site visits.

Programmatic video tactics experienced a high 73.96% video completion rate, with rates increasing month-over-month.

Broadcast during Q4 resulted in 166 calls.

Combined direct mail efforts resulted in 1,383 calls.
